Speaker Bio
Young Shub Kim was appointed as President and CEO of KT in August 2023. He is an expert in finance and digital transformation industries with successful experiences.
Mr. Kim served 8 years as CEO of LG CNS before his career in KT, leading digital transformation that resulted in rapid growth in various areas. Mr. Kim’s major career includes serving LG CNS as Vice President of Business Management HQ (2006 to 2008) and High-Tech Business Division (2008 to 2013). He briefly assumed the position of VP of LG CNS Solution Business Division in 2013, until he was appointed CFO of LG U+ the same year. He stayed in LG U+ until 2015, then served as CEO of LG CNS until 2023 as stated prior.
Mr. Kim earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management at Korea University and his Master’s degree in Confucian Scriptures / Korean Thought at Sungkyunkwan University.
