Ryan Bisch is the President & Chief Investment Officer of Caban, where he is responsible for the company’s finance activities. This includes the internal financing functions and all external capital requirements for the company. Ryan has over two decades of investment experience, including leading private investments across both the renewable energy and telecommunication sectors.
Prior to joining Caban, Ryan was the managing director, private investments with Ontario Power Generation (OPG). He was responsible for an $8 billion portfolio of infrastructure and private equity investments. Ryan has been involved with Caban since 2022. He lead an investment by OPG into Caban and represented his prior employer on Caban’s board of directors. In May 2023, following his departure from OPG, Ryan join Caban in his current role. He also has significant prior experience corporate governance experience and holds multiple board positions.
Ryan holds a B.S. in Actuarial Sciences from the University of Alberta in Canada. He is a holder of the Institute of Corporate Directors Director designation.
