Speaker Bio

Georgina (Geo) Santiago is a Mexico City–based economist and senior advisor specializing in economic analysis, competition policy, and regulation. She has over 25 years of experience leading complex M&A, antitrust, regulatory, and litigation cases across telecommunications, media, audiovisual content, and technology-driven industries.


She has held senior leadership positions in Mexico’s competition and regulatory authorities in Mexico, including heading the Economic Competition Unit at the Federal Institute of Telecommunications, where she was among the first women to lead these specialized areas. Since 2019, she has advised corporations, law firms, and public authorities across Mexico and Latin America, and collaborates with international consulting firms. She is also a member of the WICT Network LATAM, supporting the advancement of women in media, communications, and technology.
