Electronic Engineer from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, with executive education in Global Advanced Management from IE Business School (Spain). He brings over 20 years of experience across the telecommunications and aerospace industries.


Throughout his career, he has led complex negotiations and the deployment of large-scale projects across Latin America, including:



  • Cellular backhaul networks in partnership with leading mobile network operators in the region

  • Government connectivity initiatives and solutions for defense and national security

  • Universal broadband access programs targeting rural and underserved areas

  • Enterprise solutions across key industries such as mining, energy, agriculture, and IoT

  • Broadcast content distribution networks (DTH, cable operators, and digital terrestrial television)


His professional trajectory includes key leadership roles at major SATCOM and aerospace companies such as Eutelsat, OneWeb, ST Engineering, Advantech Wireless, and Gilat Satellite Networks, enabling him to develop a comprehensive perspective on both the technological and commercial dynamics of the industry.


During his last eight years at Eutelsat, Alejandro has played a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding into new markets across Latin America. He has led regional commercial strategy while fostering strong collaboration with distributors, service integrators, and local partners.


Currently, he leads the regional sales organization, with a strong focus on building strategic partnerships with governments, mobile network operators, and key industry stakeholders—including Claro (América Móvil), Telefónica Movistar, Digicel, Liberty, Tigo-Millicom, Telecom, DirecTV LATAM, ENTEL, WOM, and CNT—advancing the development of scalable and innovative connectivity solutions across the region
