Sheikh Ali Bin Jabor Al-Thani was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Ooredoo Qatar in January 2023.


Most recently, Sheikh Ali Bin Jabor Al-Thani was the Group Chief Legal, Regulatory & Governance Officer, a position he held from March 2020 until his appointment as CEO of Ooredoo Qatar.


In this role, Sheikh Ali oversaw Ooredoo’s global legal activities and policies, as well as ethics, brand protection, compliance and regulatory affairs, including process automation and anticipation of future transactional needs. He was responsible for the provision of progressive, strategic and proactive advice to the Board and Executive Management on all aspects of governance, policies, global legal compliance and regulatory frameworks across the group.


Prior, Sheikh Ali was the Group's Chief Corporate Governance Officer from January 2018 until March 2020 is the Secretary of the Board since 2018.


Sheikh Ali joined Ooredoo Group in 2013 and served in a number of roles, including Chief Legal and Regulatory Officer of Ooredoo Qatar.
