Speaker Bio
Andrey Kirillovich has got more than 25 years of experience in satellite communications industry.
He has been working in various parts of satcom value chain. From satellite bandwidth provider - GEO satellite operator (RSCC) to ground network equipment vendor (iDirect) and international organization promoting use of satellite communications to reach UN sustainable development goals (Intersputnik).
Throughput his career in the industry Andrey was responsible for Contracts, Customer Accounts, Sales of satellite bandwidth, ground equipment and services, marketing and business development.
At his current position in Intersputnik he takes responsibility over the organization’s strategy development and implementation, marketing and PR activities, as well as expansion to new markets and development of new business opportunities.
During these 25 years Andrey has been a regular contributor to various satcom industry magazines and media, as well a regular speaker at various forums: from global ones like Satellite show in Washington DC and World satellite business week in Paris, up to regional like AfricaCom in Cape Town, CabSat in Dubai and many others.
Andrey holds Ph. D. degree in Economics from Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics.
