Speaker Bio

Medea Janjghava is an innovation and entrepreneurship expert with over eight years of experience across venture capital, startup ecosystems, consulting, and higher education. She currently serves as Partnership Director of Global Tech Weekend, a platform connecting corporates, founders, governments, investors, creatives, startups, and universities across the Caucasus and Central Asia. She is also the Managing Director of Future Laboratory and Administrative Dean of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Master’s Program at the University of Georgia.


Medea co-authored the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program developed with UC Berkeley SCET and has extensive experience leading startup support initiatives, acceleration programs, venture operations, and ecosystem development. As a lecturer, startup mentor, and innovation expert, she works with founders and organizations to transform ideas into scalable companies. 


She has represented Georgia on international platforms including the Asian Development Bank, Swedish Institute Impact Pioneers, and CAREC.
