Speaker Bio

Daniel Pataki is the Chief Regulatory Officer & EU Affairs at Cellnex Telecom. He has extensive experience providing strategic input to the European telecoms policy agenda. Among others, he has been Vice President for Policy and Regulation, as well as Head of Europe (2015-2023), of the GSMA, Director General of the European Telecom Network Association (2012-2015), Chairman of the Hungarian National Telecommunications Authority (2004-2010), Chairman of EU Radio Spectrum Policy Group (2009), Chairman of the European Regulators Group (ERG, now BEREC, 2008) and Deputy State Secretary for Telecommunications at the Ministry of Telecommunications and IT (2002-2004). He holds a Master's degree in Economics from the Budapest University of Economic Sciences in Budapest (Hungary), where he specialised in international relations and public affairs, and a postgraduate degree in Management in the framework of the Copernic Programme in Paris.
