Aleksander Popovskiy is a distinguished business leader with extensive experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors. He currently serves as CEO of Yandex Search International, leading the company’s growth strategies and playing a key role in strengthening Yandex's market position in search services.


Before joining Yandex, he held executive positions at major telecom operators MTS and Beeline. During this time, he played an active role in the deployment of 3G and 4G mobile infrastructures. He made significant contributions to the industry's development through innovative pricing models and family-oriented solutions. 


Aleksander Popovskiy studied Systems Engineering at Vyatka State University and later completed his MBA at the London Business School. He also holds a PhD in Engineering Science.
