Capital, networks and energy: The GSMA Tower Forum Roundtable

Consolidation of LATAM’s MNO market has given way to major new investments to upgrade and expand networks. That is leading to more demand for tenancies and towers to enable MNOs to win new customers. As the same time, disruption from the conflict in the middle east is causing the cost of capital to rise and disrupting supplies of energy at a time when both are needed for telecom investment. It is imperative that the industry coordinates and acts in partnership to enable resilient new networks to be deployed rapidly.
