Speaker Bio
Javier Gavilán graduated with a master's degree in telecommunication engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. In 1997 he also graduated from the Instituto de Empresa (IE) with a degree in business administration for the telecommunications industry.
In 2020 Javier joined Mavenir as Regional CTO for Southern Europe and the LATAM region, supporting regional customers, such as Telefonica, America Movil, Altan, AT&T, Liberty, Millicom and others.
Previously, Javier worked for the Telefonica Group for over 30 years in positions such as Engineering Director and CTIO in Central America and Mexico, before returning to Spain as Global Technology Director for CORE, Transport and Platforms for the last 5 years until joining Mavenir.
