Alex Lim

Alex Lim is a Business Development Director, GSMA Services, leading strategic engagement with mobile network operators, technology providers, and ecosystem partners across the APAC, Middle East and Africa region.

 

With close to 20 years of telecommunications experience, Alex has been actively involved in the industry's evolution from 2G and 3G networks through 4G LTE and the adoption of 5G technologies.

 

Prior to his current role, Alex held engineering and leadership positions with leading telecommunications operators including Maxis, Singtel, and Optus, where he supported the deployment and growth of mobile services across multiple generations of network technology.

 

Today, Alex collaborates with mobile operators, OEMs, and industry stakeholders across regions to advance the adoption of next-generation mobile services, device ecosystem solutions, and industry standards that enable a more connected digital future.
