Speaker Bio
Dato' Dr. Tengku Aizan Hamid is one of Malaysia's foremost thought leader on population ageing, longevity, retirement security, and social policy. She founded Malaysia's first multi-disciplinary Institute of Gerontology in 2002, which later evolved into the Malaysian Research Institute on Ageing (MyAgeing®), establishing a national platform for ageing research, policy development and capacity building. With more than four decades of experience spanning research, institution building, public policy, and governance, she has played a pioneering role in shaping Malaysia's ageing agenda and advancing regional dialogues on healthy ageing, long-term care, and financial resilience across ASEAN.
