Hasan Hasanov began his professional career in project finance at the London office of Glencore International. Since 2011, he has held various managerial roles in business development, international cooperation, and strategic management across both public, finance and telecommunication sectors, working with organizations such as Pasha Holding, the Heydar Aliyev Center, the International Bank of Azerbaijan, and Azercell Telecom.
In 2024, he was appointed CEO of A-Solutions Electronic Money Organization, a subsidiary of Azercell Telecom LLC — a fintech driving the adoption of cashless payments and digital financial services across the country.
Hasan Hasanov holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in International Business and Management from the International School of Business at HAN University (The Netherlands) and in Business Studies from Leicester Business School (UK), earned through a joint double-degree program.
He also holds a Master’s degree in Management from Cass Business School (UK). His executive education includes the Digital Innovation and Transformation program at the University of Cambridge, the Management Executive Program at Harvard Business School, the Adaptive Strategic Execution Program at Duke University, and the Future Maker program at IE University.
