Marko Luštrek is Head of Sales for Mobile Private Networks at Kontron, where he leads sales strategy and business development for secure, next-generation connectivity solutions. With over two decades of experience in telecommunications across Europe and the CIS, Marko has been instrumental in driving the adoption of mission-critical private network technologies, including the introduction of Iskratel’s first private LTE and private 5G deployment.
His unique blend of technical acumen and commercial leadership enables him to address complex challenges in securing ultra-connected infrastructures — from public safety networks to industrial automation. Throughout his career, Marko has managed cross-border sales teams, negotiated major international contracts, and supported the digital transformation of telecom operators and enterprises alike.
Marko holds a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from the University of Ljubljana and speaks Slovenian, English, Russian, and regional Slavic languages. He brings to the panel a pragmatic view of how private mobile networks can enhance resilience, data protection, and operational control in today’s hyper-connected world.
