Speaker Bio

Tair leads GSMA activities in the broader CIS region. He is responsible for managing GSMA’s industry programs, strategic initiatives and advocacy activities with the key telecommunication groups, international and government organizations.


Tair has extensive experience in business development, sales, operations and GR in telecom industry. Before joining the GSMA in 2018, Tair has led Ericsson business in Digital Services domain by driving sales and delivery to operators in Russia. Prior to that he held different roles in Ericsson’s operations department where he was responsible for networks’ roll-out, development and maintenance in Russia, CIS and Mongolia. Tair was also Member of Young Advisory Board to CEO Office at Ericsson. He was one out of five selected members of Ericsson Young Advisory Board among 120.000 employees across the globe, consulting Ericsson CEO and his Executive Leadership team on the questions of Sustainable Corporate Development and Business Excellence.


Tair has got bachelor’s degree in oriental and African studies from Lomonosov Moscow State University, master’s degree in economics from Russian State University for the Humanities and masters in finance from New Economic School.
