Takatoshi Okagawa is Executive Advisor of the R&D Strategy Department at NTT DOCOMO, INC. Drawing on more than three decades of experience in mobile communications, he contributes to strategic industry engagement and international collaboration on the future of connectivity. Since joining NTT DOCOMO in 1994, he has held key leadership roles across network research, technology strategy, and global R&D, including serving as President & CEO of DOCOMO Euro-Labs and Senior Vice President & General Manager of the R&D Strategy Department. His leadership has spanned advanced mobile networks, 5G Evolution/6G, Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), devices, and digital service platforms. With a broad perspective across both network and service innovation, Mr. Okagawa brings a strategic view to discussions on 6G and NTN-driven resilient infrastructure.
