In his role at the GSMA HQ, Nitin develops advocacy strategies and global positions by engaging with policymakers, mobile operators and policy experts to promote a regulatory environment aligned with best practices and governments’ strategic priorities. He is responsible for establishing evidence-based policy frameworks and initiatives to accelerate investment in mobile infrastructure and enhance connectivity. He is currently driving global policy discussions on satellite regulation, supporting governments and regulators in developing future-ready frameworks for emerging LEO satellite services
Prior to this role, he served as AVP-Group Regulatory Affairs at Axiata HQ, where he oversaw regulatory and policy strategies for operating companies and managed broader stakeholder engagement. Nitin brings a wealth of experience to the sector, having also worked in the spectrum team at the GSMA.
