Dr. Mohd Arif Adenan is a senior Malaysian public-sector professional with over 20 years of experience as an Administrative and Diplomatic Officer (PTD) in the Government of Malaysia. He currently serves as the Head of the National Information Dissemination Centre (NADI) at the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), where he contributes to strengthening information dissemination, digital inclusion, community empowerment and public access to digital services.
He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Entrepreneurship, reflecting his expertise and strong interest in entrepreneurship development, innovation, capacity building and community-based economic empowerment.
Throughout his distinguished government career, Dr. Mohd Arif has served in various strategic roles across several ministries and government institutions, including the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Entrepreneur Development, Ministry of Higher Education, Ministry of Agriculture, and the Prime Minister’s Department. His diverse experience has provided him with broad exposure to public administration, policy implementation, inter-agency coordination, human capital development and national development programmes.
With a combination of public-sector leadership, entrepreneurship expertise, policy experience and community development, Dr. Mohd Arif brings a multidisciplinary perspective to his current role in NADI. His professional focus includes leveraging digital connectivity and information access to empower communities, enhance digital literacy and support Malaysians in embracing opportunities within the digital economy.
