Bensen is the Policy Director, APAC for GSMA.
Prior to joining the GSMA, Bensen was with Access Partnership, a tech policy consultancy, where he specialized in connectivity, cloud and AI policy in Asia. He supported clients in the cloud and telecoms sectors by analysing regulatory developments and designing policy advocacy campaigns. His notable achievements include successfully helping satellite operators secure market access in key countries and advising governments on the regulation of non-terrestrial networks. In addition, Bensen has helped to drive the Asia Cloud Computing Association as its secretariat team. His prior experience also includes working in the Singapore government on emerging technology regulation.
Bensen has BAs in International Relations and East Asian Studies from Brown University, USA.
