Praveen Rajan was appointed as Chief Executive Officer on 1 February 2026.
Praveen brings more than 20 years of experience across the telecommunications and digital industries, with a strong track record in leading large-scale, mission-critical, and regulated organisations. Prior to joining PayNet, he served as Chief Consumer Business Officer at CelcomDigi Berhad, where he led consumer strategy, digital transformation, and innovation at national scale. His experience spans consumer business, technology-driven transformation, operational resilience, and stakeholder engagement, with deep exposure to regulated environments and ecosystem-based collaboration. Across his career, Praveen has consistently worked at the intersection of strategy, technology, and people to simplify complexity and enable sustainable growth. Praveen holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics & Computing) from Nottingham Trent University, where he graduated with First Class Honours.
